Choose from a beautifully dressed tree with lights, baubles, and a star ready for your arrival, or a fresh undecorated tree if your group prefers to decorate it together as part of the festive experience. We can also arrange additional festive decorations throughout the house including wreaths for the front door, staircase garlands, table centrepieces with candles, and fairy lights in living areas and bedrooms. Just let the property owner know your preferences when booking your Christmas group accommodation.

Can you arrange Christmas Day catering or a private chef at the property?

We offer several festive catering options to suit every group size and budget. Hire a professional private chef to cook a full traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings in your property's kitchen, order a professionally prepared Christmas meal for delivery and reheating, or use the fully equipped kitchen to cook your own feast — most of our large holiday houses have double ovens and large-capacity fridge-freezers ideal for catering to groups. We also work with local caterers for Boxing Day buffets, festive afternoon teas, and breakfast hamper deliveries. Are your Christmas holiday houses warm and cosy enough for a winter stay?

What if severe weather or snow prevents us from travelling to the property?

We understand that UK winter weather can be unpredictable, particularly for rural and countryside properties in the Lake District, Yorkshire, Peak District, and Scotland. Our approach is fair and flexible — we'll work with you and the property owner to find a solution if severe weather genuinely prevents safe travel. Options may include rescheduling to alternative dates or partial refunds depending on circumstances and the specific property's cancellation policy. We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive group travel insurance for complete peace of mind, particularly for Christmas bookings in remote countryside locations.
