Can we have a New Year's Eve party at your group holiday houses in the UK?

Many of our properties are perfect for New Year's Eve celebrations and parties. We ask that you respect house rules and consider neighbours — most properties extend quiet hours to midnight or later on New Year's Eve specifically. Many of our houses are in secluded rural locations across the Lake District, Cotswolds, Cornwall, Devon, and Yorkshire where celebrations can be as lively as you like without disturbing anyone. Properties with hot tubs, games rooms, large open-plan living areas, and sound systems are particularly popular for NYE gatherings and are ideal for groups of 10-30+ guests.

Is there a premium price for New Year's Eve group accommodation in the UK?

New Year's Eve is a peak period for group accommodation, so rates are typically higher than standard dates — usually 20-40% above off-peak pricing. However, when split between a group of 10-20 guests, the cost per person remains excellent value compared to hotel rooms, restaurant bookings, or city centre NYE event tickets. Many of our NYE properties include a minimum 3-night stay (30th December to 2nd January), which gives you time to celebrate properly and recover. Can you arrange New Year's Eve catering, a private chef, or bar service?

Can we do a late checkout on New Year's Day at our group property?

Late checkout options (typically until 12pm or 2pm) are available for an additional fee on New Year's Day at many of our properties, which is very popular with groups recovering from celebrations. This needs to be arranged in advance with the property owner and depends on availability — so we recommend requesting late checkout at the time of booking. Some properties also offer extended stays through to 2nd or 3rd January if you want a more relaxed New Year break rather than rushing home on the 1st.

Our New Year properties typically accommodate groups from 8 to 30+ guests, with a range of sizes to suit different celebrations — from intimate friend groups and couples' getaways to large extended family gatherings spanning multiple generations.
