Plan Your Group Trip in One Place — Free Planning Tools

Group trips rarely fall apart on the day. They fall apart in the planning — someone won't commit to a date, someone's chasing deposits, and the itinerary lives across three group chats and a spreadsheet nobody opens.

We do it differently. Group Escape Houses gives you the house and the planning tools: a free trip planner where you build the itinerary, track the budget and keep the whole group on the same page.

In Your Free Account Today

Planning tools that already do the heavy lifting

Every Group Escape Houses account includes our trip planner — live now, free forever.

Build the itinerary

Create a trip, set your dates and group size, then add houses and experiences until the weekend takes shape — all in one place instead of ten browser tabs.

Track the budget

Add costs as the plan comes together and keep a running total for the trip, so nobody gets a surprise bill at the end.

Share it with your group

Every trip has a shareable link. Send it to the group chat and everyone sees the same plan — no account needed to view it.

Download it as a PDF

Turn the plan into one tidy PDF itinerary everyone can save, print or forward — no more scrolling back through three weeks of messages.

The house and the plan, under one roof

Most booking sites hand you a set of keys and wish you luck. We've been running group experiences for years, so we know the difference between a good group weekend and a great one is rarely the house — it's the organisation around it. That's why the planner sits alongside our large group houses: plan the trip and book the house without leaving the site.

Planning a hen weekend, a birthday or a get-together? Start with a shortlist of houses with hot tubs or browse ideas for group weekend breaks, add your favourites to a trip, and let the plan take it from there.

Group Trip Planning FAQs

Everything groups ask us about the free trip planner.

Is the trip planner really free?

Yes. Create a free account and you can plan as many trips as you like. There is no charge and no obligation to book — although we would love it if you did.

Do I need to book a house before I can use the planner?

No. Most groups start planning long before they commit to a house. Create a trip, set rough dates and a group size, and add houses you are considering — the plan can firm up as the group does.

Can my group see the plan?

Yes. Every trip has a shareable link — send it to the group chat and everyone can see the itinerary without creating an account.

Can I download the itinerary?

Yes. Any trip can be downloaded as a PDF — one tidy document with the plan laid out, ready to save, print or forward.

Can my group edit the trip with me?

Yes. Invite your group to the trip by email and plan it together — vote on dates in a group poll, build a shared shopping list and split the costs so everyone can see who owes who, all inside the planner.

Can we split the costs?

Yes. Log what everyone paid for and the planner works out who owes who, down to the penny. It is tracking only — no money moves through Group Escape Houses, so you settle up between yourselves however you normally do.
