Yes — all our hot tubs are available throughout the year and maintained at a comfortable 37-40°C regardless of the season. Winter hot tubbing is one of our most popular experiences — there's nothing quite like relaxing in steaming hot water under a starry sky on a crisp winter evening, or even with snowflakes falling around you. Many guests specifically choose hot tub properties for Christmas house parties, New Year celebrations, and cosy winter weekend breaks. Hot tub houses in the Lake District, Peak District, and Yorkshire are particularly magical during winter months.

In the vast majority of our properties, hot tub use is included in the rental price at no extra cost — it's yours to enjoy as often as you like throughout your entire stay with no per-use or per-person charges. A small number of properties may charge a nominal heating supplement during winter months (typically £50-£100 for the duration of your stay), which will be clearly stated in the property listing before you book. This makes hot tub houses excellent value for group getaways, hen parties, and birthday celebrations.

Most hot tubs at our group holiday houses comfortably seat 6-8 people at a time, which suits the majority of group sizes for socialising and relaxing together. For larger groups of 15-20+, many of our premium properties feature extra-large hot tubs or swim spas that accommodate 8-12 people simultaneously. Some estate properties even have multiple hot tubs, or a combination of hot tub and plunge pool. Health and hygiene are top priorities across all our hot tub properties. All hot tubs are professionally drained, deep-cleaned, sanitised, refilled, and the water chemically balanced between each guest stay. Property owners follow strict maintenance protocols including regular water testing during your stay to ensure safe, clean water throughout. Fresh towels for hot tub use are provided as standard at most properties. If you have any concerns about water quality during your stay, property owners are responsive and will arrange immediate attention.

Most properties allow hot tub use until 10pm or 11pm to be considerate of neighbours, with some flexibility on special occasions. Our more remote and secluded rural properties — particularly those set in private grounds with no immediate neighbours in the Lake District, Cotswolds, or rural Cornwall — often permit later use and are ideal for hen parties and celebration weekends where late-night hot tub sessions are part of the experience.
