About Chettle Lodge
The house is comfortable and full of character with 8 ensuite bedrooms, 2 spacious lounges with woodburning fires, a cosy snug, a large dining room with it's own bar and a large family kitchen. The house itself has 2 large gardens, a wood-fired hot tub and ample private parking.
Right next door is a 2 bedroom flat, above a former Stable block. This can be added on to your stay to accommodate another 4 people across 2 bedrooms.

Chettle Lodge - We can sleep 17 comfortably or up to 22 with 5 extra z-beds: - Room 1 - Can be 1 x King or 2 x Singles - Room 2 - Can be 1 x King or 2 x Singles - Room 3 - 1 x Four Poster Bed - Room 4 - 1 x King - Room 5 - 1 x King + 1 x Single - Room 6 - Can be 1 x King or 2 x Singles - Room 7 - 1 x King - Room 8 - 1 x Superking - Z-beds are £30 each per stay for extra guests - please specify how many you need. They will fit into rooms 1, 2, 3, 6 and 8.
Stable Loft: - Master bedroom - Can be 1 x King or 2 x Singles - 2nd bedroom - King
Other Rooms: - We have a big TV snug area with an X Box. - We have 2 woodburners in the downstairs rooms. - We have a bar set up with cocktail shakers and glasses etc (there is no alcohol provided)
Guest Access: All parts, accept the back service corridor that has access to the office and the cellar (the steps down are not safe for guests).
Other Things to Note: There is normally a 2 night minimum however this may increase during peak times such as Christmas/New Year / Bank Holidays. We also recommend booking directly for the best prices, just search Chettle Lodge online.
There is an extra charge for the hot tub, it is not included in the price. This is £150 per stay.

Check In: 4pm Check Out: 11am Please leave the house tidy and have done all the washing up or at least stuck the dishwasher(s) on. We will strip the beds, hoover and clean but need everything to be roughly how you found it. Early check-in/late check-out can potentially be accommodated for an additional £75/hour depending on our other bookings so do please ask. The additional fee covers utilities & staffing costs associated with a tighter turnaround time. Deposit - to secure your booking please pay a deposit of 50% via bank transfer - we will provide you with the details. The remaining balance is due 1 month before. Generally there is a 2 night minimum stay. This may increase during peak and Christmas periods. Some wood will be provided for the fires (Chettle Lodge only) but you can purchase more from the village shop if required. Dog friendly - Chettle Lodge is dog friendly but we request that dogs don't stay on the beds. Please bring a dog bed with you. Please use dog poo bags when out walking in the countryside and please check the gardens for rogue poos before you leave. Chettle Lodge has a few neighbours nearby and is very much part of a vibrant village. Please be respectful by keeping outdoor noise to a minimum after 10pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends. Music policy - outdoor mini speakers are fine along with the above outdoor noise policy. Any larger event style speakers are limited to a maximum of 3 hours a day and strictly no later than 9pm. Any questions do ask. We are on a septic tank so please don't flush anything down the loos other than loo roll. Bins are provided in all bathrooms. Please don't stick anything to the walls or any of the paintings as it rips the paint off. You are welcome to smoke outside but please use the ashtrays and empty them before you leave. Overnight booking rates are based on a maximum of 17 people staying. This is 14 in double occupancy rooms (can be all king size or some of the kings split into singles) and 3 in room 5 (double + single). Up to 4 extra temporary beds can be hired at a charge of £30 per bed if you want to sleep more. They will fit into rooms 1, 2, 3 and 8. The main gardens & hot tub are available for your sole use. The pear walk garden is shared and may be used by guests staying at Stable Loft. Bins: Please be advised that we reserve the right to impose an additional charge of £100+vat if waste is not sorted into appropriate bins. This charge is due to the fact that we'll have to arrange another collection, as well as hire more staff to sort through all your rubbish (and it's a pretty gross job)
