Ormidale House is a stunning, luxurious "Laird's House" built by the Duke of Argyll in 1693, set in a breathtaking position on Argyll's Secret Coast. It accommodates up to 35 guests across 13 lovely bedrooms, making it a natural choice for a group taking over a whole house together. Inside, the house keeps the character of its history while working easily for a large party. There is a gorgeous dining room, a beautiful drawing room, a billiard room, a breakfast room and two TV rooms, so a group of 35 can gather together or spread out in smaller groups through the day. Facilities are generous. The house has a hot tub, sauna, tennis court, open fires, a four-oven Aga, full Sky TV, bikes, golf clubs, a ping pong table, a dartboard and a full-size snooker table. Ormidale has been rated at the top of VisitScotland's four star category for excellence for eighteen years. The estate sits near the Kyles of Bute, an outstanding base for cycling, walking, sailing, fishing and golf in jaw-dropping scenery, and is around an hour and a half from Glasgow. The house suits exclusive weddings, conferences, weekends away, special parties and family holidays equally well. For larger gatherings, the estate has further accommodation: Mill House sleeps 22, The Old Barn sleeps 16, and a ground-level Garden Cottage takes up to 8 additional guests, allowing for up to 75 guests in total across the estate.
